The finest grapes have always been produced in the most suitable areas of the Albenga’s hinterland. Local tradition omits the use of pesticides, herbicides and chemical fertilisers, and Vio Giobatta has merely complied with the customs of the past. Organic farming is neither a technical nor an economic decision: it is simply cultural. The farm’s reputation quickly reached leading wine merchants and the best restaurants in Liguria and beyond.
